Gateway student excels at theNCC International Diploma
Kaushini Haputhanthri, a student of Gateway Centre for Information Technology brought honour to Sri Lanka when she obtained 10 A grades at the International Diploma in Computer Studies conducted by NCC Education, UK. The Diploma is considered the first year of an IT Degree.
Though the requirement of the Diploma is only 8 subjects, Kaushini took 2 further subjects to receive A grades in Business Communication, Business Organisation, Computer Technology, Systems Development, Developing a Website, E_Commerce, A+, Networking, Java and Structured Programming Methods. The foundation for her excellence was laid during her schooling days when she attended the Gateway Kids School of Computing at the Nugegoda branch.
