For children aged 4 to 14, there are ten courses based on attainment levels within the English National Curriculum corresponding to Key Stages 1-3. For children aged 14 to 16, there are different courses that correspond to Key Stage 4, and prepare students for GCSE, IGCSE or O' level assessment.

Qualifications

Students receive Tier certificates, validated by NCC Education, UK, on successful completion of every Tier. Students have a choice of receiving certification from the International Curriculum and Assessment Agency (ICAA) [endorsed by University of Southampton] or the University of Cambridge International Examinations or both at the successful completion of Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.

Students who complete Tiers 8 and 9 have the knowledge and skills to achieve the International Computer Driving License (ICDL) qualification awarded by the ECDL Foundation.

Key Stage 4 courses coach students for public examinations such as Edexcel OL Computing, Edexcel lGCSE IT, Edexcel GCSE ICT, Cambridge OL / IGCSE Computer Studies and Cambridge IGCSE ICT.

Assessment
  • 50% practical tasks and 50% exam (100% practical at Foundation)
  • Key Stage 4 assessments follow the same format as that of the particular examination board
Further Study

Students wanting to further their knowledge of IT also have the option of going on to the NCC Education Degree Pathway - an affordable way of getting an internationally recognised British Degree in Sri Lanka.
