Gateway continues its supremacy in Chess

Gateway College had yet another successful year in Chess when they secured two Age Group Championships (Under 19 and Under 12) and became Runner-up in two other Age Groups (Under 16 and Under 14) at the recently concluded Inter International School Chess Championship.

The competition organized by the Regent International School – Gampaha in which over 700 players in 6 age groups participated, nine Gateway students won Board Prizes. They included Brijeash Saravanabavan, Nabil Nazar, Kulisa Nanayakkara, Danuka Wijegoonaratne, Hevidu Samarakoon, Ravija Gunawardane, Roshan Anandasaravanan, Dulain Perera and Gajitha Nanayakkara.
