A year gone by |
|
The journey towards this mammoth task was arduous, yet a fulfilling experience to all of us. The members of the Directorate visited the school almost once a week to oversee the new construction as well as to assist the smooth running of the school. Completing the new building complex within a year was a challenging task.
We have always been aware that merely new buildings would not make it a better school. It is for this reason that we had a number of interactive sessions between our teachers and students and their counterparts at C.W.W.Kannangara School . Over the last year we have had joint workshops in drama, music, art etc.. The children of the school were provided with opportunities to go on field trips to places such as Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. |
