Established in 1986, Gateway has considerable experience in training and assessment that meets international standards. The organization has the distinction of producing educational programmes that have been certified or endorsed by leading training providers in the UK . Gateway also carries out specialized programmes in association with strategic partners in the UK . Some of these educational programmes are currently being used in countries such as Malaysia , Pakistan, Bangladesh and China . In Sri Lanka , Gateway has one of the largest branch networks with 33 centres spread across the country.

Over the years, Gateway has built a reputation of being not only one of the largest educational organisations in Sri Lanka but also being one of the most trusted ones. The group has recorded an unprecedented growth over the last seven years under the Chairmanship of Mr. R.I.T.Alles, a former State Secretary of Education in Sri Lanka . The organization is very much committed to developing standards of education at all levels. To meet this end, in our own organisations we invest heavily on teacher training for our permanent cadre exceeding 600 teachers. Our total staff strength exceeds 800.

Gateway College

Gateway College , Colombo and Gateway College , Kandy , with student populations of 1300 and 750 respectively are two of island's most sought after schools. Both schools follow the English National Curriculum and provides education from Foundation (2 ½ years upwards) to Graduation.

Gateway Kids School of Computing

Popularly referred to as the Kids School , the organization offers ICT education to children of 4 to 16 years throughout the island at our own centres as well as in partnership with the leading Independent schools. Our courses are taken by over 12000 school children in Sri Lanka .

Gateway Centre for Information Technology

Incorporated in 1999 as a BOI approved company, has grown from a single location training centre, to one of the largest branch networks, providing training to more than 5,000 people monthly throughout the island. Courses include Diploma to Graduate level programs as well as professional training needed for the industry

Gateway Language Centre

Provides English Language Teaching (ELT) to Young Learners (6 to 12 years), Teenagers and School Leavers and Adults/Professionals. Approximately 2000 students attend courses at any given time.

Caters to the requests of Parents who feel the need to develop and strengthen the communicative and dramatic skills of their children. Approximately 500 students between the ages of 4 to 13 attend courses at any given time.
